RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE
. E A OF SPECTAT ,AS USMWTS
WNER:gS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro -
viding for the construction of certain local improvements in
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
w ,H;R1AS special. assessments were levied to pay the
cost of said work„ and, pursuant to the Statute applicable
thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of
cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by
law; and
WHEREAS. certain installments of said special assess -
ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have
not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and
m REAS,- the President and Board of Trustees find that
it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe-
cial assessment liens be foreclosed; N011 , 7EREFORE
BE IT by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against
the following described real, estate to --wit:
Lot 11 in Block 8 in Prospect Park Country
Club Subd v ,ion and Lot 13 in Block 2 in
Prospect rark Subdivision No. 1, Section 12
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian in Cook County,
Illinois;
be foreclosed.
SECTION 2. That the Attorney for. the Village of Mount
;Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose-
cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate
'with the State's Attorney of Cook County in procizrirg the fore -

closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there
be, and with. the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur-
ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit
special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board
requests said State's Attorney and officials of the Drainage
d
iDistricts to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the Village
is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in
any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attor-
ney
i to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such

iother steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of
said property to satisfy said liens.
allaulkz. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
!conflict herewith he and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force

and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
