HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 06A-52 10/07/1952 A Resolution Whereas September 30, 1952, is the 20th anniversary of service to the Village of Mount Prospect by Police Chief George E. Whittenberg, it is only fitting and proper that the Board of Trustees takes recognition of this event. Whereas Chief Whittenberg's complete devotion to his job has won for him the respect and esteem of the entire community, he has rightfully become a cornerstone in the administration of our local government. Whereas Chief Whittenberg has demonstrated an exceptional degree of ability to administer our community's ordinances and needs, it is indeed to our Village's good fortune to have such an outstanding man in the position of Police Chief. Be it hereby resolved that the Village Board of Mount Prospect and its President extend to Chief George E. Whittenberg their unanimous thanks and appreciation for the able job he has done during the past 20 years and to wish him many more years of good health and service to the people of our community. Passed this 7 day of October in 1952 AD. ***
