WHEREAS the Village is confronted with the problem of
providing adequate drainage facilities and working out an
agreement with the Feehanville Drainage District and the
Weller Creek Drainage District for the use of their facilities,
as an incident thereto, and
WHEREAS legislation is required to solve the problem and
a number of bills have been introduced on the subject and it
will be necessary for the Village to have special counsel to
assist the Village Attorney in the matter of legislation and
other problems involved.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Mount Prospect
retain Howard B. Bryant, Esq., 30 North LaSalle Stroet, Chicago,
Illinois,a specialist in Municipal Corporation and Drainage Law,
as Special for the Village in the matter of its drainage
problems to assist the Village Attorney in legal matters and
legislation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that he be paid compensation
at the rate of Fifteen Dollars per hour for services rendered.
