Wh . J 4s , the _Ammo Of Mount Prospect
located in the County of Gook , State of Illinois,
wishes to extend a water main under Elmhurst Road, Route 83,
north of Golf Road, fro a new subdivision an tha East side to
an existing water main on the west side
WhICR by law comes under the jurisdiction and control of the Department of
Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois,
and
WHEREAS, a permit from said Department is reouired before
said worn can be legally undertaken by said Village of Mount Prospect
now
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the V111a6, of Yount Prospect
County of Cook , State of Illinois
FIRST: That we do hereby request from the Department of
Public Works and Buildings, State of Illinois, a permit authorizing
the Geo. D. Hardin Contractingto proceed with the work herein
Company
described.
SECO D: That we hereby pledge the good faith of the
Village of h fount Prospect
and guarantee that all work shall be performed in accordance with the
conditions of the permit to be granted by the Department of Public Works
and Buildings of the State of Illinois, and to hold the State of Illinois,
Department of Public Works and Buildings, harmless on account of any
damages that may occur to persons or property during the prosecution of
such work, and assume all liability for damages to persons or property
due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which is to be
performed under the provision of said permit.
THIRD: That we hereby state that the proposed work in
is not, to be performed by the employees of the Village of MountProspect
FOURTH: That the proper officers of the Village of Uount Prospect
are hereby instructed and authorized to sign said permit in behalf of
