ORDINANCE REQUESTING THE CONVIY~NCE
0' CBRTAIN REAL ISTATE
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the official plan of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois,(herein called the "Villagetf)
there has been heretofore conveyed to the Village for school uses
and purposes the following described property:
Lots 71 and 72 1n Alfinits First Addition to Mount
Prospect, being a subdivision of part of the South
990 feet of the West Half of the North East Quarter
and part of the South 990 feet of the East Half of
the North West Quarter of Section 11, Township 41
North Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
according to plat thereof registered in the office
of the Registrar of Titles of Cook Count~, Il1indb
on December 2, 1953, as Document No. 1496955.
herein referred to as the"Premises"; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect lies partly
within and partly without the corporate limits of School
District Number 57, Cook County, Il11n01s, (herein called
the "School D1str1ctl1); and
WHEREAS said Premises are necessary and convenient
to said School District for sohool uses and purposes and the
School District desires the conveyance thereof to it for suoh
uses and purposes; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village
desire to convey the Premises to the School D1strict, or its
nominee as required by law, for school uses and purposes upon
payment to the Village of the sum of Th~ DOLLARS ($lO.OO) as
consideration for such transfer>j and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the School
District are agreeable to accept the transfer of said Premises
upon such terms and conditions.

BDUCATION.. SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 57 J COOK COUNTY.. ILLINOIS.
SECtION 1: The. t the foregoing preamble be and the
same 1s hereby adopted as part of this
ordinance.
SICTION 2: That this Board of Eduoation does hereby
deolare that it i$ necessary and oonven-
1ent for 1t to use, oocuPY and improve the above described
Premises presently owned by the Village, for school uses and
purposes.
SECTION ~l That an agreement haa been reaohed between
the Village and the Board of Eduoation of
this School District as to the terms of transfer of said premises.
SECTION 4: That a check 1n the sum of TEN DOLLARS
($10.00) be issued by the Township Treasurer
payable to the Village of Mount Prospect and delivered in payment
tor said Premises and that the deed of transfer shall show the
grantee as Trustees of SchOOls, TownShip 41 North Range 11, last
or the Third Prinoipal Meridian and their successors 1n off1ce..
tor the use and benefit of School District Number 51, Cook County,
Illinois, and shall be taken subject to the restriction that said
Premises shall be used for school uses and purposes only.
SECTION 5: That a oertified copy of this ordinanoe
shall be deposited with the Clerk of the
Village of Mount Prospect as certification of the action of this
Board of Education requesting the oonveyance of said Premises.
ADOPTED this 26th day of April, 1956.

I, the undersigned, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I am
the duly qualified and acting Secretary of School District
Number 57, Cook County, Illinois, and as such am the keeper
of the records and files of the Board of Education.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the foregoing is a full,
true and correct copy of an "Ordinance Requesting The
Conveyance of Certain Real Estate~ adopted by the Board of
Education of said School District on April 26, 1956.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the original of said
Ordinance of which the foregoing is a true copy is on file
in my office.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto affixed my
hand and seal this 30th day of April, 1956.

Dear Frank:
I herewith hand you certified copy of ordinance adopted by
the Board of Education of School District Number 57, requesting
conveyance of the above noted property to the school district. I
have also taken the liberty of preparing a Deed of Conveyance.
If the enclosed meets with your approval, would you submit
it to the Mount Prospect Village Board at your earliest convenience.
Also, should you have a recent letter of opinion covering this
property, I would appreciate your sending it to me with the deed
so that we may bring title down to date.
