RESOLUTION authorizing the
conveyance of certain lands to
School District Number 57.
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of School District Number 57,
Cook County, Illinois has heretofore filed a certified copy of an ordinance
passed by the Board of Education of School District Number 57, Cook
County, Illinois stating that it is necessary or convenient for it to use,
occupy and improve the real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the Village is authorized to make this conveyance
for school uses and purposes and that it would be for the best interests
of the citizens of the Village of Mount Prospect that such conveyance
be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the President and Village Clerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
convey to Trustees of Schools, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian and their successors in office, for the use and
benefit of School District Number 57, the following described real estate
to-wit:
Lots 71 and 72 in Alfini's First Addition to
Mount Prospect, being a subdivision of part of
the South 990 feet of the West Half of the
North East Quarter and part of the South 990
feet of the East Half of the North West Quarter
of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian according
to plat thereof registered in the office of the
Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois on
December 2, 1953, as Document No. 1496955.
subject to the restrictions that said premises shall be used for school
uses and purposes only.
SECTION 2. That this resolution slaH be in full force and
effect forthwith upon its adoption and approval.
