RESOLUTION to purchase a
site for municipal purposes.
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is in need of procuring
a site for municipal purposes including lands for off-street parking, and
WHEREAS, the Vogler-Schiloo Company, an Illinois Corporation
is the owner of the hereinafter described premises suitable for the afore-
said purposes; and
WHEREAS the Village of Mount Prospect is desirous of acquiring
said premises and the said corporation is willing to sell
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Village of Mount Prospect purchase from the
Vogler -Schiloo Company, an Illinois Corporation, the following described
real estate to-wit:
Lots 13, 14 and 15 in Block 2 in Busse and Wille's
Resubdivision in Mount Prospect, in the West half
of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinoi s .
Section 2. That the President and Village Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized to execute a contract for the purchase of said premises
at and for the price of $31,750.00 to be payable as follows: $3,175.00 upon
the execution of the contract of purchase and the balance of $27,575.00
on or before October 1, 1956, providing a Warranty Deed conveying said
premises is ready for delivery to the Village. The agreement shall further
provide that the taxes are to be pro-rated as of date of delivery of Deed
and that seller shall at said time, furnish either an Owners Duplicate
Certificate of Title or a Chicago Title & Trust Company Guarantee Policy

in the amount of the purchase price.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
forthwith upon its passage and approval.
