RESOLUTION NO. /t:?-57
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois, on May 21, 1957, adopted Ordinance No.
553, which said Ordinance provided for the establishment
of a Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, which said
Ordinance was incorporated as a part of the Municipal
Code of Mount. Prospect as Chap'cer 5, Article VII; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5.704 of Chapter
5 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957 as
amended as aforesaid, the Secretary of the Board of Fire
and Police Commissioners may be paid such reasonable com-
pensation for his services as from time to time fixed by
the Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that a reason-
able compensation for the services of the Secretary of
the aforesaid Board would be Ten ($10.00) Dollars per
each meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Con~is-
sioners at which witnesses appear,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois:
1. That the Secretary of the Board of
Fire and Police Commissioners shall hereafter
be paid an amount of Ten ($10.00) Dollars per
each meeting of the Board of Fire and Police
Commissioners at which witnesses appear in
connection with matters of business before
said Board;

2. A meeting shall be interpreted to mean
one continuous session without recess or ad-
journment to another calendar day;
3. This Resolution shall be effective
immediately upon passage and approval as pro-
vided by law.
