RESOLUTION NO. 21-57
1i'.1HEREAS,
George E. Whittenberg has on September Thirtieth
completed twenty-five years of honorable service in the
police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect,
AND HEERJ:.:AS,
Chief Whittenberg has maintained during these many
years a highly efficient department, together with
excellent morale, particularly during the present period
of rs.pid growth in population and a commensurate increase
in property values - public and private,
ANDWJlEREAS,
George E. \~ittenberg has given unstintingly his
time, energy, and talents to protect the lives and property
of the ci tizens of the Village of JYlount Prospect,
BE IT RESOLVED,
That the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of iVIount Prospect herewi th tender, on behalf of
the residents and property owners, to George E. Whittenberg,
Chief of Police, grateful appreciation and thanks for
outstanding public service so generously given.
Unanimously adopted this fifth day of November,
in the year of our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred and
Fifty-Seven.
