RESOLUTION OF INTENT
ST A TE OF ILLINOIS
RESOLUTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALIT Y
UNDER THE MOTOR FUEL TAX LAW
BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, that the following described
streets be improved under the Motor Fuel Tax Law:

BE IT F URT HER RESOLVED,
1. That the proposed improvement shall consist of widening
existing pavement on north lane of Lonnquist Boulevard with 8-inch
concrete pavement together with curb, widening to be 4 ft. (edge of
pavement to back of curb), from Elmhurst Avenue to See-Gwun
Avenue; widening existing pavement on south lane of Lonnquist
Boulevard with 8-inc h waterbound macadam base course and 2 -1/2
inc h bituminous surface (Subclass 1-11) together with curb and
gutter, from 1/2 block west of See-Gwun Avenue to Can-Dota
Avenue, widening to be 4 ft. (edge of pavement to back of curb);
constructing 8-inch waterbound macadam base course and 2-1/2
inc h bituminous surface (Subclass 1-11) together with curb and
gutter, construction to be 20 ft. back to back of curbs, on south lane
of Lonnquist Boulevard from Can-Dota Avenue to Elmhurst Avenue;
and drainage appurtenances, sidewalk,etc.; and shall be designated
as Section 12 -CS.
2. That the improvement shall be financed by Special Assessment
with Motor Fuel Tax funds to be used for retiring all or part of public
benefit assessments.
3. That said work shall be done by Contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby directed
to transmit two (2) certified copies of this resolution to the Department
of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Highways, through its
District Engineer.
