WHEREAS, by ordinance No.PI?/ passed !l~

, 1959, Section 6.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount

Prospect of 1957 as amended, was amended to provide that
the Police Department shall consist of such personnel as
from time to time may be authorized by resolution of the
President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village
of Mount Prospect believe it is in the best interest of the
Village and that it will promote public safety and the
general welfare of said Village if the number of employees
hereinafter set forth be and the same are hereby authorized
for the Police Department of the Village,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois:
That pursuant to Section 6.101 of the
Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957 as
amended there is hereby authorized the follow-
ing personnel for the Police Department of
the Village of Mount Prospect:
