HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 05-59 01/27/1959 5 - 59 CANVASSING RESOLUTION WHEREAS the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, heretofore on the 6th day of January , 1959, did cause to be submitted to the legal voters of said Village, at a special election duly called and held in and for said Village on the 27th day of January , 1959, the following question: (Here insert proposition voted upon as shown on the ballot.) That the total number of votes cast at said special election as shown by the poll list was: Election Precinct Number 1 261 Election Precinct Number 2 191 Total 452 Section 2. That it is hereby found, determined and declared of record that the question of issuing $75,000 Fire Fighting Equipment Bonds, did receive the approval of a majority of the electors of the Village voting on said question at said special election and that said question had been legally approved and carried and that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, have been authorized by the electors of the Village of Mount Prospect, to issue $75,000 Fire Fighting Equipment Bonds of said Village. Section 4. That all orders or resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed, and that this resolution be in full force and effect immediately and forthwith upon its adoption.
