WHEREAS, in the opinion of this body, the indebtedness described in the pre-
ceding paragraph may be retired with funds allotted to the municipality under the
Motor Fuol Tax Law, and

WHEREAS, it appears that sufficient motor fuel tax funds ore or will be avail-
able when the above indebtedness is due, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated the sum of
TWENTY-EIGHT THOYSAND EIGHT
HUND~D TWENTY-THREE .AN!? 71/l0~_. Dollars (~;) 28,,823.71 ) from funds
allotted to the municipality under the Motor Fuel Tax Law for the payment of the
above-described indebtedness, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk is hereby directed to transmit three
certified copies of this resolution to the Department of Public Works and Buildings,
Division of Highways, Springfield, Illinois, through the office of the district
engineer.
