Lowe Village of Mount Prospect 100 South Emerson Street Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056 MINUTES CLOSED SESSION AUGUST 20, 2002 The Closed Session was called to order at 9:11 p.m. by Mayor Farley, in the conference room of the Central Community Center, 1000 West Central Road. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Land Acquisition and Litigation. Present were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron, Irvana Wilks and Michael lade I. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl. Minutes Motion made by Trustee ladel and Seconded by Trustee Skowron to approve the Minutes of August 6, 2002. Trustee Wilks abstained. A revision was requested whereas the address of the Central Community Center be included in future Minutes. Minutes were approved with the revision. Motion made by Trustee ladel and Seconded by Trustee Skowron to approve the Minutes of August 13, 2002. Minutes were approved. Land Acquisition Village Manager Janonis wanted to confirm the details with the Board members based on the Closed Session from the previous week summarizing their comments regarding the Land Use Agreement with the Library. There was some discussion regarding the importance of several of the items suggested but the items listed in the Minutes for August 13 were accurate. LitiQation Village Manager Janonis provided an update summary written by the Village's defense attorney regarding the Egebergh Case which was sent to the insurance provider. This information is provided for informational purposes only and does not need to be acted on at this time. He did remind everyone that the trial is slated to begin late September on this Case based on the fact that the sister of the deceased is demanding significantly more money for settlement than is necessary.
