MINUTES
CLOSED SESSION
JANUARY 19, 1999
The Closed Session was convened at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Center conference Room. The
purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Land Acquisition. Present were: Mayor Farley,
Trustees George Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Daniel Nocchi and
Irvana Wilks. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village
Manager David Strahl.
Land Acquisition
Norb Huecker property
Village Manager Janonis provided a detailed description of the projected price for the property and
the anticipated credit for the environmental cleanup. He felt that the deal is close to completion and
the need to move quickly to obtain the property is an important consideration in determining the
projected price.
18 West Busse Avenue
Village Manager Janonis provided information regarding the acquisition of the rear half of the Ye
Olde Town Inn and what the necessary steps in obtaining the property are.
Insiqnia Homes
Village Manager Janonis provided an update to the Village Board regarding the projected
development on Algonquin Road of town homes and the necessary cleanup of the property and
storm water detention issues.
Town Centre
Village Manager Janonis provided an update regarding the Town Centre project with Norwood for
information purposes only.
10-40 West Central Road
Village Manager Janonis provided an update to the Village Board regarding the projected purchase
price of this parcel and what the impact of that purchase on the overall development of the block
might include.
Develooer Aqreement
Village Manager Janonis suggested the Village Board review the Developer Agreement as proposed
by Norwood regarding the Town Centre project.
The Closed Session adjourned at 7:34 p.m. No action was taken.
