MINUTES
EXECUTIVE SESSION
SEPTEMBER 11, 1990
The Executive Session was called to order at 10:05 p.m., in the second floor Conference
Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street to discuss pending
litigation and bidding procedures. Present at the Executive Session were: Mayor Gerald
Farley; Trustees Ralph Arthur, Mark Busse, Timothy Corcoran, George Van Geem and
Theodore Wattenberg. Absent from the Executive Session was Trustee Leo Floros. Also
present were Village Manager John Dixon, Director of Planning and Zoning Dave
Clements and Village Attorney Arthur Holtzman.
The first item that was discussed was the potential settlement of the Cook County School
Bus Case. The Board indicated that we should proceed with the settlement negotiations
as outlined.
The second item of discussion was the bidding on the property at 443 Rand Road to
determine whether there may have been any inappropriate actions that may have taken.
The third item of discussion was an update of Artfield Builders' discussion that was held
with the Mayor, Trustee Corcoran and Village Manager on Saturday, September 8, 1990.
At 10:52 p.m., the Executive Session was adjourned.
