Illinois 60056 Phone: 70B / 392-6000 Fax: 708 / 392-6022 MINUTES EXECUTIVE SESSION SEPTEMBER 3, 1991 The Executive Session was called to order at 9:35 p.m., in the second floor Conference Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of discussing Personnel and Collective Bargaining. Present at the Executive Session were: Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees Mark Busse, George Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Leo Floros, Paul Hoefert and Irvana Wilks. Also present was Village Manager John Dixon. Collective Bargaining. There was tentative agreement with the Metropolitan Police Association-Mount Prospect Chapter, concerning the increased payment of medical premium insurance for Police Officers covered in that unit. The Village Manager indicated that there is a tentative agreement with the MP A wherein the members of the Police unit would be paying $14 for single coverage and $40 for dependent coverage for medical insurance premiums as a employee contribution. The Village Manager brought the Board up to date concerning the discussion of solicitation that was done by the MP A. He informed the Board that the MP A had sent a letter to the soliciting firm indicating they are to cease and desist and not do any follow-up work and they also opted out of their contract for the next year. The Village Manager also went over the discussions concerning prohibition on solicitation in the future and the Board gave authorization for an Ordinance to be drafted with appropriate rules and regulations prohibiting soliciting without permission of the Board. Acquisition of Real Estate in the TIF Area. The Board indicated they wished to emphasize the triangle area at this time and not be purchasing any properties outside that immediate area. Personnel.
