MINUTES
EXECUTIVE SESSION
NOVEMBER 19, 1991
The Executive Session was called to order at 9:20 p.m., in the second floor Conference
Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of
discussing land acquisition and litigation. Present at the Executive Session were: Mayor
Gerald Farley; Trustees Mark Busse, George Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Leo Floros, Paul
Hoefert and Irvana Wilks. Also present were Village Manager John Dixon, Finance
Director Dave Jepson and Planning and Zoning Director David Clements.
The first item to be discussed was Land Acquisition. The Board considered the
acquisition of property in the triangle area and gave authorization for staff to negotiate
for a parcel of land and also to obtain extensions of leases where appropriate so that the
impact of the cost would be reduced. Mr. Jepson and Mr. Clements were released from
the Executive Session.
The second item discussed was Litigation (Snuggery /Disconnect law cases). The Village
Board accepted the proposal for the resolution of these cases provided that a 15-year
moratorium on future lawsuits was obtained from the Snuggery.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 10:09 p.m.
