MINUTES
CLOSED SESSION
JUNE 27, 1995
The Closed Session was called to order at 10:26 p.m., in the conference room of the
Senior Citizens' Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of discussing
Personnel. Present at the Closed Session were: Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees George
Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Richard Hendricks, Paul Hoefert, and Michaele Skowron.
Absent from the Closed Session was Trustee Irvana Wilks. Also present was Village
Manager Michael Janonis.
Personnel
Mayor Farley indicated that it was necessary to conduct the annual performance review
of the Village Manager. He noted that the set date of the review was May 1 but that
because of other pressing business, the process had been delayed. The Mayor also
noted that the summer schedule of the various Board members would make it difficult to
be able to meet as an entire group.
The Mayor passed out a Performance Evaluation Form and asked that all elected officials
complete same and return to the Mayor by July 5. A follow-up Closed Session discussion
would be scheduled for July 11.
Board members asked the Village Manager to also complete the Evaluation Form based
upon an evaluation of his own accomplishments during the past year. It was also
suggested that for future reference, the Manager compile a file of representative review
instruments used by other municipalities in reviewing their Chief Executive Officer.
There was no further discussion and the Closed Session adjourned at 10:36 p.m.
