MINUTES
CLOSED SESSION
NOVEMBER 6, 1996
The Closed Session was called to order at 10:28 p.m., in the conference room of the Senior Citizens'
Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of reviewing Closed Session Minutes from the
previous six months. Present at the Closed Session were: Mayor Gerald L. Farley; Trustees George
Clowes, Richard Hendricks, Paul Hoefert, Arlene Juracek and Irvana Wilks. Also present were:
Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl.
Review of Closed Session Minutes
The Village Board reviewed the Closed Session Minutes from October 1, 1996. On a Motion by Paul
Hoefert and Seconded by Trustee Clowes, the October 1 Closed Session Minutes were approved
on a roll call vote with Trustee Juracek abstaining.
Release of Closed Session Minutes
Village Manager Michael Janonis reviewed with Board members all Closed Session Minutes which
had not previously been released. State Statute requires that this review be undertaken on a semi-
annual basis. Mr. Janonis recommended that four sets of Closed Session Minutes be released due
to the fact that they no longer needed to remain confidential. After brief discussion by the Board.
there was concurrence with the Manager's recommendation.
No other business was discussed in Closed Session and on a Motion by Trustee Juracek and
Seconded by Trustee Hoefert with a unanimous roll call vote, the Closed Session was adjourned at
10:38 p.m.
