CLOSED SESSION

The Closed Session was called to order at 8:41 p.m., in the conference room of the
Senior Citizens' Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of considering the
release of Closed Session Minutes. Present at the Closed Session were' MaYllr Gerril('l
Farley; Trustees George Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Richard Hendricks, Paul Hoefert and
Michaele Skowron. Absent from the Closed Session was Trustee Irvana Wilks. Also
present were: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David
Strahl.
The Village Board reviewed and approved the Closed Session Minutes for the meeting
held on October 10, 1995. Comment was made that the Minutes are much more detailed
than might typically be expected. Board members felt that detailed Closed Session
appropriate. On a Motion by Trustee Hoefert and Seconded by Trustee Clowes, the
Minutes were approved. Ayes: Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees, George Clowes, Timothy
Corcoran, Richard Hendricks, Paul Hoefert and Michaele Skowron. Nays: None.
Release of Closed Session Minutes
Village Board members reviewed Minutes of previous Closed Sessions to determine
which, if any, could be released to the public. After brief discussion: it was determined
that the following Minutes could be released in whole or in part:
February 8, 1994 - Partial
November 1, 1994 - Partial
January 10, 1995
February 21, 1995 - Partial
March 21, 1995 - Partial
June 27, 1995
August 22, 1995
It was determined that there were certain personnel issues which were still pending that
necessitated that they be kept confidential but that other portions of certain Minutes could
be released at this time.
Staff was directed to prepare appropriate meeting minutes for whole or partial release.
An appropriate Resolution would be considered by the Board at its next regular Board
meeting.
There was a Motion by Trustee Hoefert and Seconded by Trustee Clowes to come out
of Closed Session. On a Roll Call vote of Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees George Clowes,
Timothy Corcoran, Richard Hendricks, Paul Hoefert and Michaele Skowron, all voted to
adjourn Closed Session meeting at 8:50 p.m.
There being no further business to discuss, the Board meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
