MINUTES
EXECUTIVE SESSION
MAY 19, 1992

The Executive Session was called to order at 9:34 p.m., in the second floor Conference
Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of
discussing litigation and personnel. Present at the Executive Session were: Mayor
Gerald Farley; Trustees Mark Busse, George Clowes, Timothy Corcoran, Leo Floros and
Paul Hoefert and Irvana Wilks. Also present was Village Manager John Dixon.
The first item under Litigation that was discussed was an update given by the Village
Manager on the Suit by Home by Hemphill. The Village Manager indicated that there
is a June 1 response time frame and that the Village will be responding by specifically
questioning whether there is legal authority for Mr. Hemphill to file Suit against the
Village.
The second item that was discussed was the Mayor informed the Board of the Liquor
License Hearing for Midwest Liquors and that he had given seven days closure and a
fine of $2,500 which is under Appeal. We should hear back in about a week.
The third item discussed was the Health Spa. The Village Manager indicated a response
by the attorneys is set for later this month and when we hear more, we will respond to
the Board.
The fourth matter to be discussed under litigation was Disconnect Action. The Village
Manager gave an update on discussions he has had with people on Addison Court.
Trustee Busse gave an update on discussions he had with Mr. Schwartz on Kenneth
Drive.
The next item to be discussed was Personnel. The Village Manager was asked to leave
at 9:50 p.m.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 12: 15 a.m.
