MINUTES
EXECUTIVE SESSION
AUGUST 18, 1992
The Executive Session was called to order at 9: 15 p.m., in the second floor Conference
Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of
discussing Property Acquisition and Personnel. Present at the Executive Session were:
Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees Mark Busse, Timothy Corcoran, Leo Floros and Irvana
Wilks. Absent from the Executive Session were Trustees George Clowes and Paul
Hoefert. Also present were Village Manager Michael Janonis, Finance Director Dave
Jepson and Planning Director Dave Clements.
Property Acquisition
Village Manager discussed with Board members recent discussions held with the attorney
for Norb Huecker and Dennis Reindl of Northwest Electric. Both parties expressed
interest in continuing negotiations. Village Manager indicated that further contact was
expected the week of August 17.
Personnel
Village Manager indicated that negotiations with the Police Union would be beginning
the last week of August. General discussion regarding basic negotiation parameters
ensued including economic issues, benefits and management rights. Village Manager
indicated that periodic progress reports would be brought forward.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 10:00 p.m. after a Motion by Trustee Corcoran
and Seconded by Trustee Floros.
