MINUTES
EXECUTIVE SESSION
OCTOBER 20, 1992
The Executive Session was called to order at 10:55 p.m., in the second floor Conference
Room of the Senior Citizens Center, 50 South Emerson Street, for the purpose of
discussing Review of prior Executive Session Minutes and Litigation. Present at the
Executive Session were: Mayor Gerald Farley; Trustees George Clowes, Timothy
Corcoran, Leo Floros, Paul Hoefert and Irvana Wilks. Absent from the Executive
Session was Trustee Mark Busse. Also present was Village Manager Michael J anonis.
The Village Manager, Mayor and Board of Trustees reviewed a series of Executive
Session Minutes to determine if the subject matter was suitable for release pursuant to
the Open Meetings Act. Upon said review, it was determined that the following Minutes
may be released into the public record:
April 7, 1992
May 12, 1992
June 2, 1992
June 9, 1992
September 22, 1992
The Village Manager also reviewed with the Mayor and Board of Trustees the status of
negotiations with the property owners in the Disconnect Lawsuit. Village Manager
explained that the Stay of the Appellate Court opinion would expire on October 21,
1992. Thereafter, the properties were returned to the jurisdiction of Cook County. The
Village Manager suggested that as a show of good faith, the Village continue to provide
all Village services on a basis equal to those provided during the pendency of the
Appeal. There was consensus among those present to continue to provide said services.
The Executive Session was adjournt:d at 11:40 p.rr.. after a Motion by Trustee Floros
and Seconded by Trustee Clowes.
