The Closed Session was called to order at 9:20 p.m. by Mayor Farley, in the conference room of
Senior Center. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Property Acquisition. Present
were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron, Irvana
Wilks and Michael Zade!. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant
Village Manager David Strahl.
Property ACQuisition
The Village Manager provided an update regarding discussions with the Mount Prospect Public
Library Attorney regarding the Land Use Agreement. He stated that Buzz Hill has met with the
Library's Attorney and feels that progress is being made. There will be some movement off the
original demands. He also stated that the Lease Agreement will not be done in time for the
projected Bond sale on May 21 and feels that the Village Board should not link the approval of the
Bond sale to the completion of the Land Use Agreement. The Library has provided information
regarding concerns about the impact of the parking deck on their operations which will need to be
worked out through the agreement process.
Consensus of the Village Board was to consider convening a sub-committee to work out the
necessary details of the land Use Agreement if necessary.
The Closed Session was adjourned at 9:37 p.m.
