The Closed Session was called to order at 8:16 p.m. by Mayor Farley, in the second floor
conference room of Village Hall. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Personnel.
Present were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele SkoWron,
Irvana Wilks and Michael Zade!: Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant
Village Manager David Strahl, Police Chief Richard Eddington and Village Attorney Buzz Hill.
Motion made by Trustee Wilks and Seconded by Trustee Skowron to approve the Minutes of
February 5, 2002. Minutes were approved.
Motion made by Trustee Zadel and Seconded by Trustee Wilks to approve the Minutes of
February 12, 2002. Minutes were,approved.
Personnel
Village Attorney Hill and Chief Eddington left the meeting at 8:52 p.m.

Assistant Village Manager Strahl provided an update regarding the initial discussion with the Public
Works Union (SEIU) and reviewed the various demands of the Union with this initial meeting. He
stated that he will continue to update the Board as things progress and if necessary, come back to
the Board for additional authority in negotiating an agreement which staff feels is fair.
Motion made by Trustee Wilks and Seconded by Trustee Skowron to return to open session.
The Closed Session adjourned at 9:06 p.m. and immediately reconvened into open session at
9:07 p.m. There was no further business discussed.
The Closed Session was adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
