The Closed Session was convened at 8:16 p.m. in the Human Services conference room. The
purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Litigation. Present were: Mayor Gerald Farley and
Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron, Irvana Wilks and
Michael Zadel. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village
Manager David Strahl.

Village Manager Janonis summarized the status regarding the Addison Court Lawsuit which is
related to the fact that several property owners in the Addison Court area had been previously
disconnected from the Village by a Court ruling. He stated the Lawsuit has been winding its way
through the Court system for several years and based on the fact that it is necessary to finally
resolve this issue which the Village really has no jurisdiction over, he is suggesting that the Village
proceed with involuntary annexation of the area in an effort to terminate the Village's participation in
the Lawsuit.
Consensus of the Village Board was to direct staff to proceed with the involuntary annexation
of the property owners collectively known as the Addison Court property owners.
There was no other business discussed in Closed Session and the meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
No action was taken.
