The Closed Session was convened at 8:12 p.m. to discuss Litigation. Present were:
Mayor Gerald L. Farley; Trustees Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer, Dennis Prikkel,
Michaele Skowron and Irvana Wilks. Absent from the Closed Session was
TrusteeTimothy Corcoran. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis.
Litigation
Village Manager Janonis reviewed the current status of the Martinez Appeal and the
Medrano and Moser Cases with Village Board members. A Hearing on the Final
Injunctive Relief in the Martinez Case was scheduled for February 28, while Trial in the
Medrano Case had been set for March 13. Mr. Janonis indicated he would be meeting
with the Village's attorney team on Thursday to discuss strategy. He would also make
arrangements to have the new attorney team meet with Village Board members after
the Committee of the Whole meeting on February 8.
The Village Board instructed the Village Manager to keep them closely apprised of the
status of the Case.
The Closed Session adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
