Bids for
P/W radios Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Colfer, moved to suspend
the rules to allow the Public Works Committee to give a report re
radios for Public Works vehicles. Unanimous.
Two bids were submitted by Motorola and RCA. Director of Public
Works and Village Manager agree that the Motorola equipment be
approved. The total RCA bid was $5,711. The Motorola bid follows:
Base Station with Antenna, 30ft. Mounting Mast,
Transmission Line, Fitiings, Remote Control and
Microphone $1,709~f75
5 Mobile Radios (Single Frequency) 2,920.00
Mobile Radio (Dual Frequency) 628.00
4 Accessory sets for Interchangeability of
Mobile Radios 240.00
Trustee Ekren, seconded by Trustee Colfer, moved to award the contract
to Motorola, the low bidder in the total amount of $5,497.75.

ITEMS TO BE REFERRED
Hydrant rental An invoice has been received for $620.00 for hydrant rental for
etc. bills to those hydrants within the Village where water services are provided
DiMuccl by Utility Water and Sewer Co. Several invoices have been sent to
DiMucci Home Builders, Inc. and Salvatore DiMucci for engineering
inspection services, hydrant repair, street name markers, and weed
cutting which remain unpaid to date in the total amount of

Randhurst trafflcAcquisition of Randhurst traffic survey was referred to the Manager
survey to set up a meeting with the Randhurst Corp. and Fire and Police
Committee.
A study and recommendation of possible north and south streets east
of Rand Road and Foundry was referred to the Manager, E~gineer,
Public Works, Fire and Police and Finance Committees.
Youth Comm. A Youth Commission Resolution was presented and referred to the
resolution Judiciary Committee for study.
Appropriation A proposed appropriation transfer ordinance was referred to the
transfer Ord. Manager and Finance Committee for study, recommendation and preparation.

After Trustee Colfer's "Pass" the Chair ruled that a "Pass"

adjourned. Unanimous. Time: 9:00 P.M.
