President Congreve called the meeting to order at 9:30 P.M.

The purpose of the meeting was for discussion of possible action on Water problems
water problems.
Two years ago the Board of Trustees discussed the possibility of
obtaining Chiaago water. It was decided to add more wells, and at Well #5
Well #5, a million gallon reservoir was constructed. Now the largest #7
well (#7) is out of comnission. Work on Well #11 on property at
the Country Club is in the process of construction.
The Village Manager reported that in discussion with Arthur Lewis
of Consoer, Townsend & Associates it was recommended to acidize
Well #10 (Bluett), and also Well #9 and add a booster pump at Well #10, #9
Well #8 (Hatlen). A 500/725 gallon booster pump new would cost #8
approximately $5,300, and could not be put into operation for ll0
days, which would be beyond the s~mmer season. There is a p~mto in
~'~ storage which co~uld be put into use within ~0 days, if usable. It
is a Worthington pinup from Well #3 which had been removed several Well #3
I years ago. Mr. Lewis reconmended the use of the old p~mp and motor.
He concurred in the recommendation to acidize Wells #9 and #10.
It was also stated that at #10 the pun~ should be pulled, rebushed
and the well pipe inspected.
Mr. Evans of Layne Western gave a report on Well #7 progress. He
reported that they have come to no conclusion as yet dut to threading
problem incurred.
Further discussion ensued on the necessary work to be done on the three
wells and the following information was given:

Trustee Colfer, seconded by Trustee Kilroy, moved the Manager be
instructed to proceed with repairs and refurbishing Wells #8, 9, and
10 not to exceed $15,000.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Colfer Grittani Kilroy Lewis Teichert
Motion carried.
Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Colfer, moved that the work be
done on Wells #8, 9 and l0 on a time and material basis rather than by
bid.

Motion carried.

Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Lewis, moved to hire Consoer,
Townsend & Associates to do the engineering work on Wells #8, 9, and
l0 for a total not to exceed $500.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Colfer Grittani Kilroy Lewis Teichert
