CALL TO ORDER Call to Order
President Congreve called the meeting to order at 8:10 P,M.

AWARDING OF INSURANCE BIDS CON~ENCING MAY 1, 1968 Insurance
Trustee Kilroy gave a report frcm the Finauce Conmdttee regarding insuranc~eids
bids. The Cor~aittee voted to accept the low bid of George L. Busse
Company in the amount of $22,662.45. Trustee Kilroy, seconded by
Trustee Reiter, moved to concur with the Finance Con~uittees recommendation
and accept the low bid of George L. Busse Company (which met specifi-
cations with a $2,000,000 limit umbrella clause) for $22,662.45.

Motion carried.
The Finance Conmmittee was charged with cOnsideration of making the
insurance committee a regular committee and defining duties.
APPROVAL OF BILL OF ROSS, HARDIES, O'~WE, BABCOCK, MC DUGALD & PARSONS Legal Bill
Memorandum from Village Manager reported receipt of invoice from the Approval'
above law firm for services rendered in the lawsuit of DiMucci et al
vs. Congreve et alfor the fOllowing individuals as elected officials:

The Village Manager requested approval for payment of the bi&ls in
addition to those already submitted for approval.
Trustee Kilroy, seconded by Trustee Rogers, moved for final payment of
Ross, Hardies, O'Keefe, Babcock, McDugald & Parsons in the amount of
$3,177.90 for services rendered in the lawsuit of DiMucci et al vs.
Congreve et al.

Civil Defense APPOINTM~S
Appointments President Yongreve reconmnended the following appointments to be
made for the Mount Prospect Civil Defense for terms to expire '
April, 1969: Lt. Larry Pairitz, W. Roy Martin, David Hanks,
Larry Wills. Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Rogers, moved
to concur in the President's recon~nendation.

Bd. of Appeals President Congreve recormnended the appointment of George Jacobsmeyer
Appointment of as Chairman of the Board of Appeals for a term to expire April 30, 1971.
Chairman Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Rogers, moved to concur with
Jacobsmeser the President's reo~mmendation.

Jantac & President Congreve recommended the appointments of Frank Jantac and
Goodman appoint Donald Goodman as members of the Board of Appeals for terms of
to Bd. of Appealsoffice to expire April 30, 1971. Trustee Rogers, seconded by Truste
Lewis, m~ved for approval of the President's recommendation.

Clean Streams President Core, eve recommended the reappointments of Robert J.
Appointments Klovstad, Lloyd Schafer and Edward J. Van Huisseling as members of
Klovstad, Schegerthe Drainage and Clean Streams Cor~uission for terms to expire
VsnHuisseling April 30, 1971. Trustee Rogers, seconded by Trustee Teichert, moved
to concur in the President's recc~mendation.

Fire & Police President Congreve recon~nended the appointment of Lawrence Ostling
appointment as a member of the Fire and Police Commission for a term to expire
Ostling April 30, 1971. Trustee Rogers, seconded by Trustee LEWIS, moved ~-~
to concur in the Presiduet's recon~nendation. Under discussion, .
Trustee Teichert stated P. Pmndolph Bateman had served well and wished
to remain a member of the Fire and Police Conmiission. He requested
reconsideration of the appointment. Trustee Grittani concurred.

President Congreve recommended the reappointments of George Anderson, Corms.
Ray Schultz, Bernard Hermneter as amembers of the Architectural Cormmittee. appointment
Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Lewis, moved for approval o~the Anderson,
President's reocmmendation, for terms to expire April 30, 1969. He~etter

FAIR HOUSING ORDINANCE
Trustee Rogers requested that prior to the May 7th regular board Fair ~!ous~in£
meeting the attorney conpare the proposed ordinance versus the National Ord
ordinance and give his conclusions as to whether the National ordinance
wo~uld supercede any proposed village ordinance. The attorney advised
there will be a seminar May 10th in Chicago and he suggested deferral
until that time.

Trustee Kilroy, seconded by Trustee Reiter, moved the meeting be
