Trustee Soderman, seconded by Trustee approval of Ahem, moved the minutes of the regular meeting of October 21, minutes 1969 be approved as amended. OCTOBER 28, 1969 SPECIAL Correction: Title to Resolution 31-69 should read: "A resolution authorizing the purchase of the site commonly known as West Park mud to further authorize cooperation with the Mount Prospect Park Distirct for developing said site and adjacent and adjoining pro- petty for park, recreation, flood control and municipal purposes." Norris as a member of the Village Board for the unex- pired term vacated by the resignation of Trustee Earl Lewis. Goodman gave the oath of office t~the newly appointed Trustee Norris, who then assumed his position as a member of the Board. APPOINTMENT OF VIRGINIA HULSEBERG TO Y~ C(~NISSION President Teichert recon~ended the appointment of Virginia V. Hulseberg Hulseberg as a member of the You~h Commission and requested appntd, to Board concurrence. Trustee Kilroy, seconded by ~Trustee Reiter, Youth Cotton. moved to concur in the appointment of Virginia Hulseberg as a member of the Youth~ C~mmission, filling the position vacated by Irene Wat erheuse. COMMUNICATIONS AND PETITIONS Approval of Mr. Donald Roth presented plans for public improvements for Roth his office building at Linneman and Golf. He proposed to put in curb alomg the property line and is dedicating 7' additional in order that the road may be widened. Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Soderman, moved for Spproval of the public in~prove- ment plans for the Roth office building at Linneman and Golf. Upon roll call: Ayes: Ahem Furst Kilroy Norris Sodermen Motion carried. Fish-N-Chips - north side of Central Road intersection Mt. Prospect Fish-N-Chips Road and Rand Road - Trustee Norris, secended by Trustee Furst, moved for approval of the public improvement plans for Fish-N-Chips on Central Road at Rand. Di~c6i' public improvement plans - Golf and Busse DiMucci Golf & Trustee Furst, seconded by Trustee Reiter, moved for approval of Busse public i~mprovements plans for DiMucci subdivision at Golf and Busse. Upon discussion, Trustee Furst, seconded by Trustee Reiter, moved to amend the abb~e motion to add: "as indicated in red on the plat presented to the Board." CHICAGO ROOF REPAIR 121 WAVERLY AVENUE Roof repair to Trustee Ahem, seconded by Trustee Furst, moved to authorize RANEY Raney Harris, Inc. of Chicago to perform the repair work at Harris ,~. 121 Waveriy Ave. for the low bid price of $3,900. BU~ING Trustee Sodermau, seconded by Trustee Kilroy, moved for passage of Ordinance 2202: Ord. 2202 AN~ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPEFffY LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF RAND ROAD, EENSINGTON ROAD AND MAIN STREET Upon roll call: Ayes: Ahem Furst Kilroy No~-~-is Reiter Soderman Motion carried. At the request of the Village Clerk, the Finance Committee re- Agenda viewed the mailing list for the Village Board agenda and minutes mailing and other accompanying materials. After consideration the follow- Lug recomnendations were made: Agenda be posted on the lobby --- bulletin board, 3 copies of the agenda be made available at the Village Hall to be viewed by all citizens, if interested persons _ still wish to have agendas mailed, there would be a charge of $5.00 annually, and if agenda and minutes are both requested, the annual fee would be $10.00. Complete agendas and all attach- ments would be distributed to the President and Board of Trustees, departments heads, Village Manager. The agenda and minutes would also be mailed at no cost to all elected officials for a period of two years following their term of office. The Village Attorney was directed to prepare a resolution incor- porating the abo~e for presentation at the next regular meeting. An ordinance was presented amendiug a p~bion of Chapter 3 of publications by the Municipal Code with regard'to legal publications. This Village Glerk would repeal ~B~solution No. 2~-68 and give3 t~e~Village Clerk the option of placing advertisements in newspapers, according to practicality. The Clerk was requested to place the ordinance on the agenda of the mext regular meeting for final reading.
