Marlin Smith of Ross, Lardmes, O'Keefe, Babcock, McDu?ald counsel and Parsons to proceed in a petition to appear in the Illinois Suprem~Marlin Court in the case known as Village of Mount ProspeCt vs. County of Smith Cook - Docket #28258. Wa%er Co. He stated it was the purchase of openion of Consoer, Tov~msend & Assoc. that the present rates of Utili~YUtility Se~r and Water Co. will provide sufficient funds to operati and main- Water & tain the physical facilities, to pay the annual principal and interest, Sewer and leave reasonable surplus and therefore, it is economically feasible to purchase those properties which will stand along without the help of the Village of Mount Prospect. Trustee. Kilroy, seconded by Trustee Reiter, moved that the Board of Trustees receive and place on file the feasibility report of Consoer, To~send & Assoc. dated August 7, 1969, describing a proposed improvement and extension of the combined ~aterworks and sewage syste~ of the Village by the acquisition of the existing waterworks and water distribution system and the existing sanityary sewer system of Utility Sewer and Water ~Company and connecting and incorporati~ the seine into the combined waterworks and sewaMe system of the Village, and the installation of a fire flow water meter with check valves and appurtenant facilities on the said waterworks and water distributions system to be acquired, and estimating the cost of such improvement and extension, including legal costs, er~ineering, admin- istrative costs and bond discount to be the sum of $1,000~000. ~Upon roll call: Ayes: Ahem Furst Y~lroy Lewis Reiter Soderman Nays: None President Teichert declared the motion carried.
