This meeting was called pursuant to Chapt. II, Sec. 2.103 by Trustees John Kilroy,
Earl lewis and George Reiter for the installation of new Village officials and
the appointment of an acting Village Manager.
Preceeding the call to order~ the Village Clerk gave the oath of office
to the follwoing IAbrary Directors: Marion Clark, for a two-year term
to fill a vacancy, John James Gladstone, Helen Marie Viger, John W. A. Parsons,
each to fill a six year term of office.
CALL TO ORDER
Village Clerk ~ichard H. Monroe called the meeting to order at 8:05 P. M.
ROlL CALL
Present upon roll call: Reiter Grittani Kilroy Soderman Teichert
Absent: Congreve Lewis
The Village Clerk asked for nominations for a President pro tern.
Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Grittani, moved for the appointment
of Trustee John Kilroy as President pro tern. There were no other nominations.
Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Grittani, moved the nominations be close.
Unanimous.
Upon the roll call for appointment of Trustee Kilroy as President pro tern:
Ayes: P~iter Grittsni Kilroy Soderman Teichert
Motion carried.

The Village Clerk administered the oath of office to Village President Robert D.
Teichert~ Daniel J. Ahem, Donald B. Fmrst, George J. Reiter, Robert E. Soderman,
Trustee% and Donald W. Goodman, Village Clerk.
ADJO~
The Board then adjourned sine die at 8:20 P. M. upc~ motion of Trustee Kilroy,
seconded by 5¥ustee Reiter. Unanimous.

ROLL CALL
Present: Ahem Furst Kilroy Beiter Soderman Teichert
Absent: Lewis
President Teichert requested the Board waive notice of this meeting for the
purpose of appointing an Acting Village Manager, the appointment of a Deputy
Clerk, and the appointment of a screening committee for the purpose of
seeking a Village Manager.
Roll call: Ayes: Ahem Furst Kilroy Reiter Soderman
Motion carried.
Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Kilroy, moved for the appointment of
John Zimmermann as Acting Village Manager.
Mr. Zirmmermann requested the Board recess into executive session for the
purpose of discussion. President Teichert recessed the meeting.
The President and Board of Trustees reconvened at 8:55 P. M.
Roll call: Present: Ahem Furst Kilroy Reiter Soderman Teichert Absent: Lewis
Roll call on motion for appointment of John Zirmnermarm as Acting Village Manager:
Ayes: Ahem Furst Kilroy Reiter Soderman
Motion carried.
Trustee Furst, seconded by Trustee Reiter~ moved for the appointment of Marie T.
Hard as Deputy Clerk in concurrence with the action of the Village Clerk.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Ahem Furst Kilroy Reiter Soderman
Motion carried.
President Teichert named the following persons to a committee for the purpose
of soliciting and screening applicants for the position of a permanent
Village Mmnager: Trustee Earl Lewis, Chairman; Trustee Daniel Ahem,
Acting Chairman until the return of Trustee Lewis, Parker Ekren and Joseph
Grittani, former ~rustees.
ADJOUF~ENT
Trustee Reiter, seconded by Trustee Soderman, moved the meeting be adjourned.
Time: 9:05 P. M. Unanimous.
