Invocation ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Ahem Furst Kilroy Norris Reiter Soderm~n Teichert Roll Call ?P~SI~ENT'S ~POHT Deferred from the previous meeting~ a resoluticn was presenr~=d, waiving President's State f~uds for a study to determine the need for a differential use of Report institutional services to adolescents. This resolution waives the rights of the Village of Mount Prcspec~ to receive an $8792.00 grant for similar purposes. Five municipalities would participate in the program, and the Illinois Law Enforcement is in agreement that the amount set has not been ~reduced proportionately. It was felt this would jeopardize the Village's drug abuse program. The Clerk was directed to place this resolution on the agenda of the next regular meeting. Trustee Reiter~ secauded by Trustee Norris, moved ~o waive the rules for the purpose of making a motion regarding a Consent Decree. Unanimous. Trustee Reiter~ seconded by Trustee Norris ~ moved that the Consent Decree Consent as a~eed upon h~ the B6ard not be submitted to the' Judge for final approval Decree until a time after reconvening in Executive Session and perhaps taking ac- tion for the possibility of reconsideration. (Trustee Reiter voiced his opinion regarding the increases in salaries of department heads, and therefore voted in opposition to Ordinance #2247. ) OTHER B%BINESS Pre-annexation agreement Rcb Roy Driving Range Wre-ar~e~-at!on. Many citi~zerm were present to be heard regarding this matter. Trustee A~f=e~ent Peiter requested it be put into the Judiciary Co~.~ttee for as many public ~C~ ~Y meetin~ as m~ be deemed necessary, basing his action on the fact that the report from the Plan Commission was incomplete and more stud~ was necessary. Trustee Soderman also requested the pre-annexation agreement be charged to the Judiciary Committee. Trustee Ahem stated the next meeting of the Judiciary Committee is scheduled for September 10th, at which time this matter would be considered. ITEMS TO BE REFEREED Callero & ~quest of Callero and Catino re ten~oorary retention basin was referred Catino to.the Public Health and Safety Corm~ittee. There will be local traffic northboond only. This work will take approximately 90 days. The Acting Village Mana~r reported he and the Fire Chief had checked over purchase of new tape recorders and recommended the purchase of a Wallensack machine at tape recorders a price of $179. plus a supply of tape, bringing the cost to approximately $200.
