Invocation ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Ahern Anderson Furst Monroe Richardson Scholten Teichert Roll Call APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 7, 1971 Corrections pg. 2: 1st paragraph, last line, change tO~pproval of "without structural change to the sign. Pg. 3: strike the last work on page, the word "the" Minutes Pg. 4: strike the words "premises of the" on the top lineDec' -,197 and add after restaurant, the word "oremises". Pg. 5: 6th paragraph, strike "80% of the total amount held ($5,809.30) or $3,521.80", so that the paragraph will read: "Tr&stee Furst, seconded by Trustee Anderson.., moved to aD- prove a refund to Brickman Builders for ~ermit fees and es- crow deposits in the amount of $5,809.30 in total, includ- ing $3,521.80 being 80% of ~ermit fees." December 21, 1971 COMMUNICATIONS AND PETITIONS ~ representative fro~ the Wheeling Township Reoublican Organization discussed the possibility of Mount Prospect Environmental creating an environmental control commission. Members of control the Board reported on what is being done at this time commission concerning the environm'ent. Gerry Gedroic, Secretary for the Wedgewood Homeowners Association presented a petition to Mayor Teichert from the homeowners reouesting disannexation from the Prosoect Wedgewood Heights Library District. The Village'Atto'rney wa~ homeowners _directed to contact the County Clerk's Office and the ~soc. requesvAssessor,s Office on behalf of the residents of this area zsannexation to help them remove this assessment off their property from Prospect tax bills. Trustee Ahern, seconded by Trustee Richardson, moved to authorize ~the Mayor to sign and the Clerk to attest an agreement for engineering services covering prelim~i11±am Street inary engineering and construction engineering for th~r±dge William Street bridge. MAYOR'S REPORT An ordinance was presented for first readi'ng authdrizing the Village Manager to convey certain incorporeal heredit- aments. The Village Clerk w~s requested to place the ordinance on the next agenda. Trustee Monroe, seconded by Trustee Richardson, moved to approve the purcnase of property commonly known as Sunrise Park, ll acres more or less, in the amount of $180,000 to be oaid in six annual installments of $25,000 and a 7th Sunrise and final installment of $30,000, fSrst payment to be Park made upon execution of agreement. PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE Trustee Scholten read a report on the topics that were discussed at the joint meeting with the Board of HealthPublic Health and the Public Health and Safety Committee. The report& Safety Comm included recommendations on revision of Board of Health ordinance, glass recycling, and masquito abatement. No action was taken by the Board. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE There was no report.
