OF THE
MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OCTOBER 28, 1975
Special meeting of the Mayor and Board df Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect called by Mayor Teichert on Friday,
October 24, 1975 pursuant to Chapter 2 "The Board O.f Trustees"
Section 2.103 "Meetings" as specified in the Municipal Code of
Mount Prospect.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Teichert called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
INVOCATION
Trustee Hendricks gave the invocation.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Teichert Hendricks Minton
Rhea Richardson Wattenberg
Absent: Floros
The purpose of the meeting was to review bids for
Windsor Estates paving and awarding of a contract
funded by motor fuel tax monies. The bids were opened
at 11:00 A. M. on October 27, 1975.
The following were the six bidders and the total bid
amounts:
Milburn Bros $44,570.90 Dunteman Co. $52,698.58
Arrow Rd. $46,928.80 J.A. Johnson $54,599.40
Allied Paving iili$~9,954.75 P.J. O'Brien $56,054.99
The Village Engineer and Village Manager recommended
the low bidder, Milburn Bros. be awarded the contract.
Trustee Hendricks, seconded by Trustee Richardson, moved to
authorize approval and signing of the contract with the low
bidder, Milburn Brothers, in the amount of $44,570.90 for the
Windsor Estates paving.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Hendricks Minton Rhea Richardson Watte~berg
Motion carried.
Trustee Richardson, seconded by Trustee Wattenberg, moved to
authorize the return of ,~the bid checks to the unsuccessful
bidders and to retain the bid checks of Milburn Brothers,
and the second lowest bidder.

Motion carried.
Trustee Minton, seconded by Trustee Richardson, moved to
waive the rules to consider an amendment to the liquor
license ordinance for the purpose of adding a Class "R" license.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Hendricks Minton Rhea
Richardson Wattenbergi
Motion carried.
Trustee Hendricks, seconded by Trustee Richardson, imoved
to waive the requirements of two readings of an ordinance.

Motion carried.
