OF THE
MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
March 11, 1975
Special meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Villa§e
of Mount Prospect called by Mayor Teichert on Friday, March 7, 1975
pursuant to Chapter 2 "The Board of'Trustees" Section 2.103 "Meetings"
as specified ~n the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect.
The purpose of the meeting was to ratify the ~ction of the Library
Board in passing a resolution recommending the acceptance of the Central
bid of Brandenburg Demolition, Inc. for the demolition of Central School
School. Further, to ratify the action in the passage of a resolution
recommending the Village Board of Trus%ees also retain the check of
the Midwest Wrecking Company~ the'second lowest bidder.
The Board ~lso convened for the consideration of an ordinance calling
for the general election April 15, 1975 and approval of iud§es of
election and precinct map.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Teichert called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M.

Trustee Richardson gave the invocation.

LETTING OF DEMOLITION CONTRACT
Trustee Scholten, seconded by Trustee Gustus, moved to authorize
the Mayor and Clerk to sign and attest the contract and approve the
bid of Brandenburg Demolition, Inc. in the amount of $26,200.00
for the stated purpose of the demolition of the Central School
building, Village owned-property.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks R~chardson Scholten Teichert

Trustee Caylor, seconded by Trustee Scholten, moved to authorize
the return of all bid checks to every bidder except Brandenburg
Demolition, Inc. and Midwest Wrecking Co.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten
Motion Carried.
ELECTION ORDINANCE
Trustee Cayqor, seconded by Trustee Hendricks, moved to waive the
rules requiring two readings of the election ordinance.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten

Trustee Richardson, seconded by Trustee Hendricks, moved for
passage of Ordinance ~2559:
1975 REGULAR ELECTION ORDINANCE FOR THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, STATE OF ILLINOIS
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten
Motion carried.

of Precinct 1: Village~Hall 112 E NOrthwest Hwy., which Stated it
was bounded on the west instead of east by the Village limits, the
Chair ruled the matter should be reconsidered after an amendment
correcting the boundary.
T~ustee Richardson, seconded by Trustee Anderson, moved f6r reconsidera-
tion of the vote on Ordinance #2559.

Motion carried.
Trustee Richardson, seconded by Trustee Anderson moved to amend th~~
description of Precinct 1 indicating it is bounded on the east by the
Village limits.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten
Motion Carried.
Trustee Richardson, s~conded by Trustee Anderson, moved for passage
of Ordinance #2559 as amended.

MOU~NT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, STATE OF ILLINOIS
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten
Motion carried.
The Village Clerk presented a Village ~recinct Map having 20 precincts
and a list of judges of election for Board approval. Trustee ~
Richardson, seconded by Trustee Gustus, moved to approve the pre.?
cinct map and the list of judges of ~ection for the April 15, 1975
general election.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Caylor Gustus Hendricks Richardson Scholten
Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Richardson, seconded by Trustee Caylor, moved the meeting
be adjourned. Time: 7:50 P.M. Unanimous.
