A RESOLurION AUTHOHIZING THREE }i'IRE LIEUTENANTS
POR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT .PRoS.pEcrr AND
ES~PABLISHING SALARY FOR SAllIE
WI-IEREAS, the ,Office of Fire Lieutenant has been es- (70 q
tablished in the Village of I'!ount Prospect by Ordinance No. -Ll...!-'
and
~iEREAS, in the opinion of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village there is a need for the appointment of
three fire lieutenants, and
WHEREAS, it is determined that the salaries for said
office should and ought to be $7,308 per annum,
NOW, THEREPURE, BE IT .HESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That pursuant to provisions of Chapter 7
of the Municipal Code of l'/[ount Prospect and the authority therein
contained, there is hereby authorized three Fire Lieutenants;
that the salary for said office shall be $7,308 per annum; and
that the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is hereby author-
ized to conduct competitive examination for three Fire Lieutenants
and to appoint same in accordance with the statutes and the result
of such competitive examination.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.
