HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 10-63 04/23/1963 RESOLUTION NO. 10-63 RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES CAST AT THE REGULAR ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 16, 1963, AND DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF. I-lHEREAS, a regular election Has held in and for the Villar'e of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 16, 1963, for the purpose of electing three Village Trustees, each for a four- year term, and two Library Directors, each for a six-year term; and I-lHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the votes cast at said election and are ready to report: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: manner: Section 1. James L. Quip-ley ,.-- s--J defective ballots were cast and not counted. Section 3. That inasmuch as Parker Ekren, Harry R. Bruhl and Frank R. Ber~en recieved the highest number of votes, be and each of them are hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect. That inasmuch as Emily Kirchhoff and James L. Quigley received the highest number of votes, be and each of them are hereby declared elected to the office of Library Director of the Village of Mount Prospect. That all foregoing officials so elected shall qualify in the manner and time prescribed by law. Section 4.
