A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PERSONS WHO SHALL BE EXEMPTED
FROM PAYING FOR THE MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE STICKER FOR
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount
Prospect have for many years past established a practice of permitting
certain persons to receive motor vehicle stickers without cost based upon
the public service which they render, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the President and Board of Trustees
to extend said exemption to persons not heretofore covered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the ViIBge of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That all prior resolutions relating hereto, be and
the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. That members of the Plan Commission, Board of Appeals,
Volunteer Fire Department, Disabled Veterans, employees and officials of the
Village of Mount Prospect, members of the Library Board, Chief Librarian,
Board members of School Districts Nos. 57 and 214, Superintendent and
Assistant Superintendents of Mount Prospect School District No. 57, Mount
Prospect Park District Board members and superintendents, Board of Health,
Electrical Commission, Police and Fire Commission, and also vehicles owned
by the Park District and School District No. 57, providing same reside in
the Village of Mount Prospect, be and they are hereby exempted from paying
to the Village of Mount Prospect the charge for the motor vehicle license
sticker as set forth in Section 17.108 of the Municipal Code of l'1ount
Prospect as amended.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
