HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 44-63 12/17/1963 RESOLUTION 44-63 BE IT RESOLVED: That the Flag which has flown at half staff in front of the Village Hall in mourning and in grateful memory of our assassinated President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, on November 22, 1963, be, upon the expiration of the period of mourning on December 22, 1963, re- moved from said staff, that it be properly folded and thereafter encased in an airtight case made of glass, crystal plastic or other durable transparent material, so that it can be preserved as an item of historical value for posterity, that a suitably worded plaque be obtained and affixed to said case, so that the future citizens of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, may see the Flag that flew commemorating the untimely death of the Thirty-fifth President of the United States of America.
