WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect located in the County
II of Cook, State of Illinois, wishes to locate, construct, operate and
maintain watermains, sewer, lines, driveways, alleys, street returns,
I sidewalks and street lights constructed either by the Village of Mount
Prospect or under supervision of said Village of Mount Prospect in the
year of 1965 on the State Highways in the Village of Mount Prospect,
Illinois.
WHICH by law comes under the jurisdiction and control of the Department
of Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois, and
WHEREAS, a permit from said Department is required before
said work can be legally undertaken by said Village or supervised by
the Village; now
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village of Mount Prospect,
County of Cook, State of Illinois.
FIRST: That we do hereby request from the Department of
Public Works and Buildings, State of Illinois, a permit authorizing
the Village of Mount Prospect to proceed with the work herein described.
SECOND: That we hereby pledge the good faith of the Village
of Mount Prospect and guarantee that all work shall be performed in
accordance with the conditions of the permit to be granted by the Depart-
ment of Public Works and Buildipgs of the State of Illinois, and to hold
the State of Illinois, Department of Public Works and Buildings, harmless
on account of any damages that may occur to persons or property'during
the prosecution of such work, and assume all liability for damages to
persons or property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work
which is to be performed under the provision of said permit.
THIRD: That we hereby state that the proposed work is not
to be performed by the employees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
FOURTH: That the proper officers of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect are hereby instructed and authorized to sign said permit in behalf of
the Village of Mount Prospect.
I, Ruth C. Wilson, hereby certify the above to be a true copy
of the resolution passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect, County of Cook, State of Illinois.
