HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 11-65 05/04/1965 Jj I: II II II I I I II II Ii II II I I Ii I I 'I I 'I I RESOLUTION NO. ~1-65 PROVIDING FOR COMMITTEE PROCEDURES WHEREAS, there are six standing committees of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, including the Finance Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Building Committee, the Street Committee, the Police Committee, and WHEREAS, the composition and responsibilities of these committees has been established by ordinance; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to expedite the work of said committees in order to promote the promot and efficient discharge of the public business; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT: SECTION ONE: That each standing committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect shall meet not less than one a month at the time and olace to be determined by said committee. At least seven days prior notice shall be given of the time and place of subject matter of said regular committee meetinp. III iI ; " ii :~ " n Ii SECTION TWO: All committee reports shall be in writinf and directed to the President and Board of Trustees. Copies of said reports shall be made available to all members of the Board of Trustees and the Village Manager and shall be available for inspection by the public, except when such reports deal with land acquisition, oersonnel, or pending litigation, in which case such committee reports may be designated confidential for use by the President and Board of Trustees only.
