HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 30-65 11/02/1965 RESOLUTION NO. 30-65 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE PROSPECT PLAZA BANK TO THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF MOill~T PROSPECT WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 23-61, adopted and approved Sept- ember 26, 1961, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect disignated the Prospect Plaza Bank of Mount Prospect as the depos- ,itory of the Village of Mount Prospect Trust Fund, and WHEREAS, the Presiden t and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect are informed and believe that the said Prospect Plaza Bank proposes and intends to move from the Village of Mount Prospect, and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect toname only banks located within the corporate limits of the said Village as depositories for Village funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD IbF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS: !I II :1 Iteptember 26 t 1961, be t and it is hereby, repealed. II SECTION TWO: That the First National Bank of Mount Prospect I~e, and it is hereby, designated as the depository of the Village of I~ount Prospect Trust Fund and that the funds so deposited may be withdrawn II upon Trust Fund Warrants signed by the following: I I I I SECTION ONE: That Resolution No. 23-61, adopted and approved Village President Village Clerk Village Treasurer whose signatures shall be duly certified to said bank and that no Warrants I drawn against siad bank shall be valid unless so signed. SECTION THREE: That the Director of Finance be, and he is I hereby, authorized and directed to transfer the fUhds and monies held I I I I I I II and deposited in the Village of Mount Prospect Trust Fund from the Prospect Plaza Bank to the First National Bank fo Mount Prospect. SECTION FOUR: That said bank is hereby authorized and dir- ected to honor and pay any warrants so drawn, whether such warrants be pay- able to the order of any such person signing said warrants or any of such persons in their individual capacities or not, and whether such warrants are deposited to the individual credit of the person so signing said warrants or to the individual credit of any of the other officers or not. This resolution shall continue in force and said bank may consider the facts concerning the holders of said offices, res- pectively, and their signatures to be and continue as set forth in the certificate of the Village Clerk, accompanying a copy of this resolution when delivered to said bank or in any similar subsequent certificate, until written notice to the contrary is duly served on said bank.
