RESOLUTION NO. 34-65
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DEPOSITS TO GUARANTEE
THE INSTALLATION OF STREET TREES
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Article II of the Village Plan
I of Mount Prospect, as amended, requires subdividers to deposit
:11 with the Village a sum of money sufficient to guarantee the cost
,I and expense of installing street trees; and
II WHEREAS, the said Section 8 of said Article II
!I requires that the amount of such deposit be determined from
I time to time by Resolution adopted by the President and Board
" of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
I Village of Mount Prospect have reviewed the cost and expense
Iii of installing street trees and have determined that a deposit
of $30 per tree is reasonable and necessary to guarantee the
installation of such trees in subdivisions.

NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: No final plat of subdivision shall be
approved by the President and Board of Trustees of Mount Prospect
until the subdivider presenting such plat shall have deposited
with the Village Treasurer of the Village of Mount Prospect the
sum of $30 for each tree to be planted in the parkways in such
subdivision pursuant to the .requirements of Section 8 of Article
II of the Village Plan of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: All resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
