RESOLUTION NO. 9-68
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES IN THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPAR'IMENTS
WHEREAS, on July 11, 1967 the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect adopted Resolution 30-67 establishing the
salaries of police lieutenants, fire lieutenants, fire lieutenant-inspector,
and police sergeants, pOlicemen, and policewoman, firemen, and fireman-
mechanic; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire and dete:rnrl.nation of this Board to
change the provisions of said Resolution 30-67:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That said Resolution 30-67 passed and adopted on
July 11, 1967 is herein repealed and superceded by this Resolution.
SECI'ION TWO: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1968
the annual salary for police lieutenants shall be as scheduled herein:
First 12 months at rank
Second 12 months at rank
Third 12 months at rank
Fourth 12 months at rank
After 48 months at rank

SECTION THREE: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1968
the annual salary for police sergeants shall be as scheduled herein:

SECI'ION SIX: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1968
the fire-lieutenant-inspector shall receive the sum of Sixty Dollars ($60.00)
per month in addition to his base rate.
SECI'ION SEVEN: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1968
the fireman-mechanic shall receive the sum of 'lhirty Dollard ($30.00) per
month in addition to his base rate.
SECTION EIGHr: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1968
the amual salary of the policewanan shall be Six 'lhousand and Six Hundred
Dollard ($6600.00).
SECI'ION NINE: 'lhe above rates are premised on service time at the
rank coupled with recommendation by the respective Chiefs of Departments.
SECI'ION TEN: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
