RESOLUl'ION 26-68
A RESOLillION AUrHORIZING THE NECESSARY SIGNATURES EFFEartJATING WITHDRAWLS
FROM THE AUrHORIZED DEPOSITORIES OF VILLAGE FUNDS.
WHEREAS, certain Resolutions have been passed and approved by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect during the
preceding years designating certain banks as depositories of certain
designated Village funds; and
WHEREAS, said Resolutions further authorized the withdrawl of these
funds upon warrants signed by the following: Village President, Village Clerk,
and Village Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, a review of the Illinois Revised statutes, Chapter 24,
reflects the necessity of only two signatures being necessary for compliance
with the Statutes in the disbursement of Village funds; and
WHEREAS, the independent annual audit reports have suggested and
indicated the deletion of the third signature for said warTants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUsrEES OF THE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the funds so deposited in the designated banks may
be withdrawn upon warTants signed by the following: Village President;
Village Treasurer-Comptroller, whose signatures shall be duly certified to
said banks and that no warrants drawn against said banks shall be valid tmless
so signed.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall affect the following passed
and approved Resolutions of the Village of MOtmt Prospect with regard to
authorized signatures:

SECTION 3: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to each of the
authorized banks designated as depositories by the Resolutions contained in
Section 2 herein.
SECTION 4: That said banks are hereby authorized and directed to
honor and pay warrants so drawn, whether such warTants be payable to the order
of any such person signing said warrants or any of such perscns in their

indi vidual capacities or not, and whether such warrants are deposited to the
individual credit of the person so signing said warrants or to the individual
credit of any of the other officers or not. This Resolution shall continue
in force and said banks may consider the facts concerning the holders of
said offices, respectively, and their signatures to be and continue as set
forth in the certificate of the Village Clerk, accompanying a copy of this
Resolution when delivered to said banks or in any sllnilar subsequent
certificate, until written notice to the contrary is duly served on said banks.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
