RESOLUTION NO. 27-68
A RESOLUTION TO CANCEL ALL PRrnGrIONAL ELIGffiLE REXHSTERS FOR THE FIRE AND
POLICE DEPARTMENTS THAT ARE DATED PRIOR TO SEPI'EMBER 1. 1965
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have reviewed the Illinois Revised Statutes, as amended in
1967, with reference to "ProIOOtions - Merit - Seniority" in the Fire and
Police Department; and .
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have detennined that
it act in full compliance of said statutes as set forth in Chapter 24,
Section 10-2.1-15, by having proIOOtional eligible registers effective for a
three-year span; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have detennined that
certain prorrotional eligible registers are presently dated prior to September
1, 1965; !
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: 'lbat a certain Promotional Eligible Register for the
position of Fire Lieutenant dated January 4, 1965 be, and it is hereby
cancelled and of no validity.
SECTION 2: That arr.f and all other Promotional Eligible Registers
for positions in either the Fire or Police Department that are dated prior
to September, 1965 be, and they are bereby, cancelled and of no validity.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
