RESOLlmON NO. 5-69
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, located in the County of Cook, State
of Illinois, wishes to locate, construct, operate and maintain watennains.
sewer lines, driveways, alleys, street returns, sidewalks, traffic signals
and street lights constructed either by the Villaga of Mount Prospect or
under supervision of said Village in the year 1969 en the State Highways in
the Village of Mount Prospect. Illinois
WHICH by law comes under the jurisdiction and control of the ~partment of
Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois
and
WHEREAS, a permit from said ~partment is required before said worK can be
legally undertaken by said Village or supervised by the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF MJUNT PROSPEGr. COUNrY OF
COOK. STATE OF ILLINOIS:
SEGrION ONE: That we do hereby request from the ~partment of Public Works
and Buildings, State of Illinois. a permit authorizing the Village of Mount
Prospect to proceed with the work herein described.
SEGrION 'lWO: That we hereby pledge the good faith of the Village of fibunt
Prospect and guarantee that all work shall be perfo~d in accordance with
the conditions of the permit to be granted by the ~partment of Public
Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois, and to hold the State of
Illinois, ~partment of Public Works and Buildings harmless on account of
any damages that may occur to persons or property during the prosecution
of such work, and assume all liability for damages to persons or property
due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which is to be perfo~d
under the provision of said permit.
SECTION THREE: That we hereby state that the proposed work is to be perfo~d
by the errployees of the Villaga of Mount Prospect.
SECTION FOUR: That the proper officers of the Villaga of Mount Prospect are
hereby instructed and authorized to sign said permit in behalf of the Village
of Mount Prospect.
SEGrICN FIVE: This Resolutien shall be in full force and effect fran and
after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
